THE GALLERY<\/h5>\n

The Guillermina Caicoya Gallery is a space dedicated to contemporary art with an annual program of individual exhibitions focused on consolidated artists of the Asturian environment such as Mar\u00eda \u00c1lvarez, Carlos Coronas, M\u00f3nica Dixon, Paco Fern\u00e1ndez and Natalia Pastor, national artists such as Alfredo \u00c1lvarez Pl\u00e1garo or Mario Espliego, international artists such as Morgan Bancon, Tom Benson, Yosihiko Kitano, Leo Wellmar and Nicolas Woods and emerging youth from the national and international scene.<\/p>\n

It has a long history in whose origins is the Nogal Gallery, created in 1969 by El\u00edas Caicoya Masaveu, a descendant of the founders of the Masaveu Bazaar, the first art room in Asturias. At present, Guillermina Caicoya art projects, is located on the ground floor of a historic building whose exhibition space has retained its character and uniqueness, aspects present in the gallery’s philosophy, open to specific interventions with creators such as Paloma G\u00e1mez , Teo Soriano or Gonzalo Tena. Projects committed and conceived for the place that are identified with the words of the creator Michael Heizer: “the work of art is not exposed in one place, the place itself is the work of art.”<\/p>\n

The determined commitment to the latest art, the special sensitivity for the dissemination of new aesthetic trends in our closest environment, but above all, for the promotion and support of artists at Contemporary Art Fairs, nationally and internationally, as Spark Viena, Volta Basel,\u00a0 Just Lisboa, Estampa, Pinta Miami, Arte Lisboa, ArteSantander or Just Mad, is compatible with the work of advising on the purchase, appraisal, appraisal and sale of works of art from the 19th and 20th centuries.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
