Teo Soriano (Mérida, Badajoz, 1963) studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Salamanca and Pontevedra. His academic training is extended with the assistance in numerous and diverse workshops in Galicia and Madrid, among which are those taught by artists such as Lucio Muñoz, Rafael Canogar or Eva Lootz.
His first exhibition dated 1985 in A Coruña entitled “Las Algas”. From there, his work begins to be seen in individual and collective exhibitions that are organized in galleries, museums and art centers throughout Spain. Among his exhibitions we find “Elbow stained turquoise blue” at the Kiosko Alfonso de A Coruña Exhibition Center, “27 blacks” at the Galician Center for Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela, “The sketch of the World” at the Luis Seoane Foundation from A Coruña, “Painting points” at the Torrente Ballester de Ferrol Center, or “New acquisitions” at the Galician Center for Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela. He has also collaborated with several galleries such as the Trinta Gallery of Santiago de Compostela, the Paloma Pintos Gallery of Santiago de Compostela, the Miquel Alzueta Gallery of Barcelona and Madrid, or the Fernando Pradilla Gallery of Madrid, among others.
He has exhibited 3 times in the gallery Guillermina Caicoya of Oviedo.
His work has been exhibited at the stands of numerous national and international fairs such as Arco (Madrid), Art Chicago (Chicago), Art Madrid (Madrid), The Armory Show (N.Y.). Print with Guillermina Caicoya.
